Queen Mathilde is the current queen consort of Belgium. She was born in Uccle, Belgium on January 20, 1973. She studied speech therapy and psychology at the Université Catholique de Louvain. She is fluent in French, Dutch, English and Italian. In 1999, she married Prince Philippe, who became King of Belgium in 2013. They have four children together. Queen Mathilde is known for her dedication to social issues, particularly those related to women's rights, mental health, and education. She works closely with a number of organizations and charities, including the United Nations. She is also a patron of many cultural events and organizations in Belgium.
